Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: For your Ride to Remember trip, of all the great organizations you could have raised funds for what made you chose the Alzheimer's Society of Canada?

A: The short answer is that they do amazing work and are very close to Nate's heart. You can read more about why we chose to raise funds for them in the “About Us” section of the website.

-----

Q: What made you choose “Where Are We Now?” as the title of your blog?

A: When trying to brainstorm names for the blog both Nate and Wade agreed they wanted a name that wouldn't pigeonhole them into any one activity. The named worked well for our first trip Nate and Wade's Ride to Remember, but also was vague enough to be used for both future adventures and the more philosophical sense of “where are we now?” in our lives.

-----

Q: Are you seriously taking no rest days on your 2017 Ride to Remember.? That's insane!

A: You are correct... by all accounts, it's a bit silly! Unfortunately, we don't have much choice in this case as we both have a lot of responsibilities back home and are limited in how much time we can afford to take off of work.

-----

Q: I love what you're doing and want to host you/support your ride. How can I do so?

A: Shoot us an email! We're open to all kinds of partnerships and support. We'd love to hear from folks all over the country/world!

-----

Q: I work with the media and I'd love to help promote your trip/website. What's the best to reach out?

A: We're thrilled you want to give us some coverage! Send an email our way and we'll get back to you as quickly as possible!

-----

Q: I don't have the financial means to donate right now, but still want to help out. How can I do so?

A: That's okay! We recognize that not everyone is in a position to donate. It's amazing that you still want to help out. To start if you can share our donation page with your friends we would be SUPER grateful! The Alzheimer Society of Canada also has a great list of ways you can help make a difference here:
